Meal Maker Pulao

Meal Maker Pulao




Ingredients:

Basmati Rice:  1/2 Kg
Meal maker: 50 gms
Pachi Batani/Mutter: 200 gms
Onions: 2 big ( chopped )
Green chillis: 5 (chopped )
Mint leaves: 1 cup ( chopped  )
Coriander leaves: 1 cup ( chopped )
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp
Garam masala: 1tbsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder: 1 tbsp ( if you need spicy you can add more )
Turmeric: a pinch
Curd: 1 cup
Jaji kaya/Myristica Bragrans: few
Ghee: 50 gms
Salt: to taste

Method:

Marinate Basmati rice for 30 minutes.

Take a pan, fry Meal Maker without Oil and Marinate in warm water.

Now, take a deep pan, add Ghee. Let it heat.

Now, add Chopped oinions, chopped green chillis and fry them until they change color.

Now, add Ginger Garlic paste, Red chilli powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala, Turmeric, chopped Mint leaves,  chopped Coriander leaves and marinated meal maker and fry them for 3 to 5 minutes.

Now, add curd and water ( as required ). When water starts boiling add Basmati rice and salt, close with lid.

When rice is 1/3 cooked, add Jaji kaya/Myristica Bragrans and mutter/ pachi batani. Allow it to cook on low flame. When done, serve and enjoy!
