Tomato Rice

Tomato Rice





Ingredients:

Rice: 2 Cups
Onions: 1 big ( chopped )
Pachhi Batanilu / Green peas: 1/2 Cup
Red chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Cummins: 1/4 tbsp
Tomatoes: 2 chopped
Potatoes: 1 chopped
Ginger Garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp ( chopped )
Green chillis: 4 ( chopped )
Oil: 4 tbsp

Method:

Marinate rice in water for at least half an hour.

Take a deep pan, Heat it. Now, add Cummins, Onions and Green chillis.

After 1 minute add Ginger garlic paste and fry untill onions color changes to reddish.

Now, add Tomatoes ( chopped ),Potatoes ( chopped ), Green peas ( pachhi Batanilu ), Red chilli powder, Coriander leaves ( chopped ) and Salt.

After 2 minutes, add Marinated rice ( without water ) and 3 Cups of water.

Allow it to heat on low flame for 10 minutes.

Tomato rice is ready.
